Integrated Development Trust in Anantapur District is giving support to Indian disadvantaged women, all of them belonged to Dalits or other background castes and suffering from some physical or intellectual disability. In 2001 the trust founded the 1st workshop in order to help these local women against discrimination and to allow their emancipation and empowerment, offering to many of them a residency and covering their daily expenses or making sure that their homes are in good conditions.

In addition, they receive basic education, medical supervision, integration and obviously, a full time job, throughout the year with continuous training programs. [Read more…]
